Yesterday I went for a simple eye make up with a light shimmery base, thick natural looking winged eyeliner and natural lashes without excessive amounts of mascara. I personally do not like the extreme winged eye liner when it’s drawn really thin and too far. I like it a bit thicker and more natural looking
I love this eye make up with tanned skin and some light contouring. I don’t really like heavy eye make up with contouring and bright lips. I like the balance the colours in a natural way, for example; Smoky eyes with slightly paler skin / less fake tan or shimmery lighter eye shadows and long natural looking lashes with tanned skin. Nude or pink lips works with any make up really so that is my go to option when it comes to lipgloss. Lighter lip colours makes the lips look bigger as well so I never ever use darker colours.
Here are a few easy and quick steps to make this look at home;
1. Use a eye shadow primer or concealer suitable for the eye area all over the eye lid. I used Glo Minerals under eye concealer.
2. Apply a lot of shimmery eye shadows in preferred colours with a big fluffy eye shadow blending brush. Make sure to apply it all over the eye lid, underneath the eye brows, in the corner of your eyes and along the line next to your nose up towards the beginning of the eyebrows. I used a light pink eye shadow from Lancome and blending brush from Real Techniques.
3. I prefer to use a gel liner when painting a thicker eyeliner or a lightly winged eye liner. Simply because it is easier to work with and if you make a mistake. I used L’oréal Gel matic liner.
4. Next step is to curl the eye lashes and apply one coat of mascara. I love Eylure’s individual lashes in the style “thin”, I use 2-3 in the outer corner. Super easy everyday make up that doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to do
