Hi babes ♥
Since I haven’t been feeling well lately I have not been able to do any make up tutorials :(( I’m currently at home recovering.
I really miss creating make up looks and I have a few new products I wanna show you dolls. Anastasia glow palette among one of them!!
But until I feel better I wanted to do a post with some old throwback photos and details included!
The look I created on these photos I used a nude/pink shimmery eyeshadow from Sephora as a highlighter. I am always on the hunt to find the most amazing highlighter, I haven’t found my absolute favorite yet so until then I like to experiment.
Using a eyeshadow as a highlighter worked out so well and the texture was great to work with.
I used the same shadow as you all can see underneath my eyebrow and I just love the results.
The make up looks so much more defined when it is the same color around the eyes as on the cheekbones and around the eye brows.
When I did this make up look (I will post more photos later and close up photos) I actually used the same shadow as you all can see underneath my eyebrow and out towards my cheekbones, creating a lustrious effect all over the places where the sun naturally hits your face. Using the same color creates a real wow effect!
The make up looks so much more defined when using the same color for both under brow highlighting as well as for the cheekbones and over the brows.
I have never seen or read about this technique before, using the same color to make the look come together more, so remember where you read it first ladies ;))
I used the Real Techniques bold metals brush in silver to apply both the eye shadow underneath the eyebrows as well as to highlight my face. It has quickly become one of my all time favorite brushes!
