Have you ever had an eyeshadow palette with metallic or shimmer shadows that looks soooo amazing, but once you apply them (even with primer underneath) they just look so DULL!?
You start to question if you even put on any eyeshadow to begin with and you just end up with shimmery dust all over your face, cursing out that you spent good money on a useless eyeshadow palette that only looked pretty on inspo photos on Instagram…
Well well well, you can sit back, relax and rely on the beautyblogging-guru (Hahaha yas I’m talking about myself and yes I’m kidding) to give your the best tricks to solve this problem. Just look at the swatches I have done on these photos, looks pretty amazing huh?
No need for paying for pricey primers, all you need to do is soak your eyeshadow or highlighter brush into some cold water, dab off the excessive water and gently stroke the wet brush into the shadow or highlighter.
And BOOM, you got yourself the most popping pigmented eyeshadow ever!!!
This work on pretty much all eye shadows or highlighters that contain either lots of shimmer or glitter.
I tried it with maybe 5 different brands now and I’m shook on how great it works. It works even on products that are not suppose to be used as a “wet or dry”- eyeshadow. This will be so good for the summer when you want to highlight your decolletage as well.
However do not try these with matte shadows, I got no solutions more than avoid mattes. At least that’s I do :))
And also apply the eye make up using a wet brush as the first step of your make up routine, wait with both the mascara and base products until you’re finish with the eyeshadow. Don’t want any wet eyeshadow on top of a gorgeous base or on newly painted mascara :))
Let me know how this works for you dolls if you try it ♥
