ice tea

Ice tea use to be one of my favorite drinks as a kid. I remember when I was around 12-13 years old, me and my parents went to South of France for the first time and there they have nestle ice tea! And I obviously became obsessed with it and had to have it every day lol! Each time I visited France, especially south of france where it’s warm and sunny, I’ve always had this drink. Sadly it’s not sold in Sweden, so today I decided to try and make it at home without white sugar and preservatives.
And it turned out aaaamazing! It was so simple to make and it’s the perfect drink to make in the summer. Great way to impress your friends if you’re having them over. If you really want to make an effort, peel and chop up some fresh peaches in the bottom of a carafe and pour the tea over it, let it sit in the fridge for an hour and then add the ice when it’s ready to serve!

So what do you need? (I only used organic ingredients as well)
Peach Tea (best is the one with fruit piece)
Coconut Syrup

Boil the water, let the tea shimmer a bit in the boiling water for best added infusion of the herbs and fruit pieces.
Add quite a lot of honey (I used 5 big tablespoons for less than 1 liter of tea) and a few tablespoons of coconut syrup. Let it cool down completely before putting the tea in the fridge. Serve with ice and enjoy :))
