sick beautyHi dolls, just wanted to check in here and say I’m alive!
I’m really not feeling well and running low on energy. I’m gonna try and force myself to drink some more water with apple cider vinegar now and also some immune system boosting tea. It’s so annoying because a part of me feels creative and wanting to write here, but then I’m also feeling too drained and tired to do it. However I have a few posts I really want to do so will be posting a bit more tomorrow ♥

Also speaking of something totally different, this might sounds a bit weird but have any of you dolls been into or tried dream interpretation? Meaning finding out what your dreams really mean or what the subconscious is trying to tell you.
I’ve always been quite fascinated about it but I guess it would be quite difficult to know who is good and bad at interpreting dreams. It’s a grey zone, it’s not like fortune telling or things like that, but still it’s not exactly science that you can get a degree in hehe!

TWO MONTHS WITHOUT SWEETS

Hi babes!
Hope you are all surviving this grey and boring Monday.
Today marks the day when a whopping two months has passed since the last time I had any sweets!!
Since New Years Eve I have not had any ice cream, cakes, cookies, no chocolate, candy, junk food meaning no french fries, onion rings, pizza etc, stopped drinking carbonated drinks including sparkling water,  no full fat chips/crisp (only lentil flour baked non fried “chips”), nothing unhealthy really. And also no alcohol.
As many of you loyal readers might remember I have been complaining on and off over my sugar/candy “addiction” and I decided it was time to put an end to that.

Since my health has become worse and worse in ways that I’m totally not in control over, nothing I can change or affect, I decided I wanted to do everything in my power to protect my health in every aspects I can.
Meaning food and lifestyle choices.
I’m now following an alkaline diet which is the best diet to follow to prevent any health conditions or diseases like diabetes, cancer etc etc.
I’m planning on writing a longer post about what an Alkaline lifestyle means but I will summarize it as short as I can.
The optimal Ph level for the body is 7.3, this is the Ph level when the body will function at it’s best and prevent diseases to grow. If the level goes below that diseases can grow and take hold in the body. For example cancer cells can’t grow in a high Ph level environment. So everything that has a low Ph level I’m not eating or consuming anymore. You are suppose to eat “high Alkaline foods” approx 80% of the time and the rest of the 20% you can eat whatever you like but avoid the worst low level Ph foods. Also called acid foods.
To mention a thing that are acid; Coffee, sugar, alcohol, meat, fish, chicken and dairy from cows (soy and almond milk is OK), sodas and sparkling water are among a few things to avoid.
Since I haven’t been able to excise at all the goal with this was not too loose weight but to just live a new healthy lifestyle. However if you would follow the Alkaline diet and combine it excises I’m sure amazing results can be achieved.

Hej babes, länge sen jag skrev på svenska och fick väl lite feeling. Däremot har jag lika mycket, om inte mer, utländska läsare gentemot svenska numera så därav har engelska känts mer naturligt.
Men såklart man får väl inte samma feeling när man skriver på annat språk än det man är mest van vid.
Kände för skriva av mig lite i ett icke-skönhetsrelaterat inlägg.
Hursomhelst så har jag suttit och klurat lite på riktningen min blogg ska ta framöver.
En sak som slog mig när jag satte mig ner en timma nu och läste svenska bloggar för omväxlingens skull är hur märkligt personliga de är, de skriver saker som vad de åt till frukost eller lunch, vilka de fikade med (fast läsaren inte har någon aning om vem den personen är haha!) eller något annat random som podcast där de pratar om sig själv och sitt liv, är detta verkligen intressant för folk att läsa?
Det som slår mig är att vem tusan bryr sig haha! Jag bryr mig knappt om vad Kim Kardashian äter, okej kanske lite bara för hon är så snygg, så varför skulle man bry sig vad en bloggare äter? Så vidare det inte är en matblogg med recept såklart!

Sen får jag typ krupp på hur många orelaterade annonser och samarbeten som finns där ute, kan vara för jag pluggat marknadsföring förut och tycker att det viktigaste är att rätt bloggare/influencers skriver om passande produkter.
T ex men om en livsstilsbloggare skriver om en skönhetsprodukt då litar jag inte riktigt på det tipset om de är bra eller dåligt smink för vad har de för erfarenhet om de inte är beauty bloggare eller make up artister, då känns det bara så himla köpt om ni förstår hur jag menar. Typ som om jag plötsligt skulle skriva om typ sporttips, hur udda vore inte det hehe..
Nä jag vill läsa om mat/recept hos matbloggare, smink och skönhet hos sminkbloggare, mode hos modebloggare och ja personliga dagböcker borde vara en kategori för sig själv. Är jag ensam om att tycka såhär? :))
Känns typ som att alla “populära” bloggare skriver om samma saker, samma events, samma kläder, samma samarbeten osv osv, och det blir så långtråkigt. Där är utländska bloggare mycket bättre måste jag faktiskt säga.

Om det inte vore för att min hälsa är sämst just nu så skulle jag gärna uppdatera mer och oftare, men något jag har fått lära mig är att man får ta saker och ting från sina egna förutsättningar.
Hur mycket jag än skulle önska att saker vore annorlunda så kan man inte önska sig till saker som är utom ens kontroll. Mina tankar går mellan att skriva om det mer men å andra sidan vill jag inte tråka ner bloggen med massa deppiga hälsoproblem, då kanske det är bättre att den uppdateras lite mindre och är “gladare”.
Mycket klurigt och har inte riktigt landat i hur jag bör göra.
Jag vill ju samtidigt inte vara som dom där bloggarna som skriver om allt mellan himmel och jord :)) Kramar Louise

NEW YEAR MODE

life-goals luxury living townhouse porsche sportscarI was taking a evening talk the other day (before the snow came) and passed by this townhouse and car outside. Talk about dreaming living!
I reminded me of the area I lived in London, Chelsea. I do miss it most of the time, not everyday but I think about it a lot. Sometime in the future I do hope I can go back there again. For now I can’t but hopefully sometime in the future I can go back to the little world in sw3 and sw10.

Hi babes!
I just wanted to check in her and say I’m alive or something. Hope you all had a lovely new years weekend. I took it really easy, no partying for me this year, however I did make a lot of food and baked. Which is something I do enjoy so that was fun!
I came up with a new starter which is so easy and simple to make, but oh so delicious and it can be made to look elegant and quite advanced. Which is great when you are short on time or when you are having dinner for a lot of people. Will share photos and recipe in a separate post!

Anyway, I tried to make some new years resolutions for myself.
– I will start to live by a more Alkaline diet, which means eat foods that are more Alkaline to make sure my body stays at the right Ph-level (which is 7.3).
I decided to be realistic and take one day at a time, I have stopped eating candy but I had a cup of hot cocoa today and a few spoons of chocolate peanut butter. So I will try and everyday work towards my goal of living a Alkaline lifestyle. I will write more about this and Alkaline diets in a separate post.
– I will also try my best and push myself into doing things I enjoy doing but I have avoided or just simple not have had the energy for during the last year and a half. – I will stay true to my intuition and avoid things or people that gives me the creeps or just a very bad vibe. And try my best to embrace kind and loving people into my life more often, happy to have gotten to know some lovely people in 2016.

CHRISTMAS DAYS

Hi babes!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, filled with lots of family, friends, amazing food and nice presents.
I spent a lot of time cooking and baking this Christmas, made saffroncake and also saffronmacarons with salted caramel filling (sooo yummie!). I also got some lovely pressies that I will show here on the blog maybe tomorrow if I have time.
Today I also managed to take a long walk with the family, something I haven’t done much lately. I need to get better and starting taking my daily powerwalks again. I don’t share much here on the blog but I have not been feeling so well for quite a while now, hence the lack of updates on the blog and a very low energy level.

My previous post is as most of you might have guessed based on my own experiences, without getting into much details I have given my all and put my faith in some people that really let me down and/or that only used me for their own selfish reasons. Weird enough this has only happened in Sweden and never in London with my friends there, I don’t know why though…
Anyway I no longer have energy for people that only take energy and never give any back, so I wanted to share my tips on how to deal with it if you feel the same. We all deserve to be surrounded by genuine people and true friends.But as the years go by you become better and better in sensing who is genuine and who is not.
If you haven’t been a victim of fake people sometime during your life, then all I can say is you are very lucky and extra blessed ♥

On happier note, this week I got two amazing make up posts planned on how to look fab and glam on New Years eve. So stay tuned it will be up soon, xx Louise
